Ah, kobolds… It seems so harsh to call them "monsters." They're really just… misguided - like a pet Chihuahua that can't resist growling at the neighbor's Doberman. Ah, but gone are the days of the yipping canine kobolds from 2nd Edition. Forget the skills and feats and relaxed class restrictions, the important news about 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons is that kobolds are reptilian humanoids now. Oh yes, you heard me right! Twelve snarling pounds of yellow eyes and scaly skin. They're not Chihuahuas anymore - they're attack geckoes!
So break out your pointy sticks and sneaky pranks, builders. It's time to pit these 2 hit-point wonders against the wiles of your motley first-level collection of frail wizards and clumsy thieves. And then, when they grow confident, have them face an entire kobold village! And when even that poses no challenge, don't forget that kobolds are often found in the service of their scaly dragonkin. The possibilities are endless… Geckoes attaaaaaaaack!!!!!!!
