Creature Profile: Gnolls

Gnoll society is ruled by the strongest member of the group who commands loyalty through fear, intimidation and cruelty - similar to gym class. Much of the Gnoll’s taste for violence can be traced back to their ancestors who were a small group of yappy poodles who finally snapped because their owners persisted in shaving their fur into amusing shapes. I think we can all agree that nobody wants to get in the way of a horde of angry poodles.
