Neverwinter Export Scripts for 3DSMax

These scripts can be used with Discreet's 3DSMax 3.0 / 3.1 / 4.2 / 5.0 to convert model's created in 3DSMax into a format that the BioWare Aurora Engine can read.

The package includes documentation to help you use these scripts, and hopefully to describe some of the nuances we used in the process. You can also view the documentation online.

To use these scripts you will need:

  1. An install of Discreet's 3DSMax 3.0 / 3.1 / 4.2 / 5.0 . The scripts were tested on all of these versions. If you have any other version, it's always worth trying.

  2. A basic knowledge of 3DSMax. The documentation will be alluding to things that will require some understanding of the package.

  3. The Neverwinter Export Scripts. To download the scripts you must agree to the terms below. The file you will download is 'nwnexportscripts.zip' (1.5 MB). You can unzip the downloaded file using a tool like WinZip.

  4. An install of Neverwinter Nights.
