Hordes of the Underdark Missing textures

You need to activate your account before you can download these files.

These files contain the "xp2_textures.bif" file missing or unavailable in some runs of Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark.

ZIP Install:
Extract the contents of the zip file into your "data" subdirectory. If you have Neverwinter Nights HotU installed in "C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN" then you should install the file into "C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\data".

EXE Install:
Download and run the Windows EXE installer to have the missing file added to your Neverwinter Nights installation.

Neverwinter Nights: Hero's Edition missing "convo.bif" file

You need to activate your account before you can download these files.

SoU Missing Ambient Sound

The ambient sound for Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide was not packaged properly. Download and install this package to get ambient sound working in Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide. This package is only for for the English version of Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide.

Extract the contents of the zip file into your "ambient" subdirectory. If you have Neverwinter Nights SoU installed in "C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\" then you should extract the files into "C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\ambient\".

BioWare's Photoshop PLT Exporter plugin and Photoshop templates

You need to activate your account before you can download these files.

This package includes one Photoshop source file for each of the 13 PC armor/clothing slots and the Photoshop PLT plugin which will allow you to export your own custom PLT files. The PLT files allow you to customize textures so that you can utilize the colour selection in the BioWare Aurora Toolset for Neverwinter Nights. BioWare created this tool for internal use. We are offering it for download as a free, unsupported Windows utility.

DDS Compression Tool

You need to activate your account before you can download these files.

The DDS Compression Tool is a free, unsupported Windows utility that will help in the process of creating textures for reskinning creatures. It will not work on all video cards. It is dependant on your video card and drivers supporting the required compression. For more information on using the DDS Compression Tool and tested video cards please read our texture tutorial on reskinning creatures.

NWScript Add-On for TextPad - Updated to v1.67

You need to activate your account before you can download these files.

BioWare's Derek French created this Syntax Definition File, adding NWScript syntax highlighting for TextPad. Great for users who code their NWN scripts using TextPad, you can install the file following the installation instructions on the TextPad site (TextPad available here.)

Neverwinter Nights Talk Table Viewer

The Neverwinter Nights Talk Table Viewer is a free, unsupported Windows utility that allows you to view and search the contents of your dialog.tlk file. This viewer has support for all the currently released language versions of Neverwinter Nights, but only works with your currently installed language. BioWare created this tool for internal use. We are offering it for download as a free, unsupported Windows utility.
