I searched the forums and couldn't find anyone else with this issue, so I thought I'd throw it out there. I've killed every living Uthgardt on the map and I can't destroy the catapults or the ballistas. I'm still getting the "weapon ineffective" messages as if the catapult commanders are still alive.
Any hints, tips, tricks or something I might have missed? If it's a bug, is there any way to manually fix it without making my character / game "illegal"?

Good grief! That was it. That's just really bizzare to me. I can't recall any other quest bit where you just had to "use" something to destroy it instead of bash the crud out of it.
Did I miss something obvious when the quest was given to me or was this just something that people figured out on their own?
In any case, thanks for the info! That was getting frustrating... |

I think the reason they're set up that way is so you can't destroy them before you take out the commanders.
