After a successful private beta, the first installment of the Witchwork Series is ready to enter a more robust and open testing phase - it is now open for everyone interested! A note of caution: beta participants will be exposed to a lot of spoilers and will deal regularly with broken or unfinished plots, unbalanced combat and treasure, gamestopping bugs, and countless other oddities. You can read the full Witchworks BETA details here, including how to sign-up.

Hmm, the beta page mentions something about beta servers. Does this mean that we can't download the module? What about us europeans that wish to sign up? I have broadband...

Yes, to avoid a million beta versions flying all over the net, clogging up the fan-based download sites, and confusing people upon the module's actual release, I've opted to go with a hosted beta. I know that it's not the ideal situation, especially for overseas testers or people looking to offer script fixes and so forth but download betas aren't ideal either. While I remain open to other beta approaches, the beta for Witchwork I will require you to connect to a version of the module being hosted locally here in Edmonton.
I encourage you to try it out. With broadband, your ping may still allow for a playable experience. If not, well that's valuable information for us as well.

If we applied prior to the cut off, but still have not received any notification of acceptance, do we still have a chance of getting in, or are we out of luck? |

No, I cannot see the BETA forums. Also, Rob Bartel replied to a message of mine saying that it looks like I missed out. Oh well. Hopefully, I will catch the next one. |
