You have to wait until the point where he mentions requiring them, which means going through each step of the conversation sets that you can have, leveling up as you play. Until then, just hold on to them. Be sure to stay in the same Chapter until then, though, because if you move on, you'll never be able to continue the henchman quests. |

When you talk with your henchman, you'll get 2 options, either he starts to talk about his life, or he says not right now, which just means you have to ask when your 1lvl higher. You have to do this 3times per quest per henchman, per chapter. Edited By freemen2 on 02/22/03 12:28 |

great... im lvl 5 and so far nada. all that he'll say to me every time i try to talk to him is the information part, like in the peninsula he tells me something about the area, nothing about himself. what if i do absolutly everything in chapter one and he still dosent talk? do i just hang around doing nothing til he'll talk to me? |

FYI - Chapter 1 is the only chapter that I know of that they won't continue their stories at every level up. Most people come out of the prologue at level 3 (possibly level 4). If you are level 4, they will continue their story at each level (4,5,6), but if you come out at level 3, they will tell their stories at levels 3,5 and 6.

You start a conversation w/ your hechman. You should get different possibilities. Change way of fighting, can you give some hints on how I should "play" and a just talk for a while, option. That's the one you have to click on to start their quest dialogue. Is that the one your going to? |

yup thats the one im going too. all he ever talks about is dribble about the area im in. ill be lvl 6 soon so hopefully he starts talking to me then. |

Make sure you have the quest in your Journal, because if you don't, you have a hick-up in your game...And that's a whole different ball of wax. |

So after "I just want to talk" you only get one option, the "Do you have any advice on our current mission" one? That's strange. There should be an option for you to ask him about himself. You'll have to be level 6 before he'll tell you the end of the story and accept the document, though. |

The forged official documents are in the wheel repair shop in the zombie infested part. (beggars nest, I believe.)
I hit level 8 and talked to all the henchmen (bleh, had to hire them all) and they each told me their sad tale, told me they'd tell me the rest later. Talk again, they tell me the next part. Basically did the whole shebang in one sitting.
Not sure if you can do it at level 7, but level 8 they get down right gabby. |
