So has anybody found out how to use Wanev's Brasier with the recipe found in Wanev's Kitchen. It says to combine Slaad Tongues and a Fire Beetles Belly as the base and then 2 parts skeleton knuckles in the brasier.
Anybody get it to work? Spoil me. |

All you need to do is open the brazier by clicking on it. Drag a sladd tongue, a fire beetle belly and 2 skeleton knuckles into it. Once you have done this, a portal should open to his basement lab.
If you can not do this, then you have run into some kind of glitch sorry to say. Most of the time this will work, but sometimes no matter what you do it refuses to let you drag the items into it. They just reappear in your inventory.

Looks like I'm one of the lucky ones where it won't work. I put the items in...nothing happens. Where does the portal take me. What do I miss if this doesn't work for me?

Basically you miss the following schtuff:
1. A chest that has offers a unique item. (which are plentiful)
2. The ward stone for the back entrance to Wanev's Tower in Charwood. (It's an option, take the backdoor or the front door kinda thing).
3. Maybe some gold and schtuff and oh yeah, you'll be missing the thought that you were ever there. |

Would you like to go see for yourself? If so then do the following being very careful of what you type. It is case sensitive. Enter DebugMode by typing:
~ or ` (depends on keyboard, key next to 1)
DebugMode 1
You should see the word success in the upper left corner of your screen. Then type:
~ or ` (whichever worked before)
dm_jumptopoint 16 10
Your character should move to inside the secret lab at about the spot you would have using the brazier. Then be sure to close DebugMode by typing:
~ or ` (again whichever worked)
DebugMode 0
Now you should be able to look around for yourself. Try using the doorway to get back out. It has nothing to do with the brazier. If it doesn't work then you can jump back out by doing all of the above again except substitute dm_jumptopoint 32 9

Those are the x y cords in the toolset. I just checked again. What did the room you jumped to look like? The brazier takes you to the secret lab which has a big black cauldron in the center and is set up as a lab.
Did you put a space between the 16 and the 10? You can try 15 and 9 in place of the 16 (space) 10 It is further into the room. If that doesn't work then try this which adds the tag for the area. It shouldn't be necessary but if you aren't getting there then it never hurts to try.
dm_jumptopoint 15 9 MAP_M2Q10 (make sure you put a space between the 15 and the 9 and between the 9 and the M). They are your x y cords.

Thanks for sticking with me on this one. I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was using the brasier in Wanev's tower, the Summoning Room. I finally remembered there was a brasier in Wanev's cottage in town. That one worked perfect.
