I have created a new potion through the toolkit based on the cure light wounds potion. I want this potion to cost 48 gold from the merchant but when the PC tries to buy the potion it costs zero and when they sell it goes for 33.
I have set the Sell Mark Up to 130 and Buy Mark Down to 70. All other items purchased from this merchant buy and sell at sensible prices.
I can understand the 33 sell prices as this is 70% of 48 but why on earth is it bought for zero.
To create the potion I basically took the cure light wounds potion, changed the name, changed the appearance and add some additional cost to the Additional Costs field.
Anyone any idea?
Thanks in advance, Adrian |

Adrian, the potion is probably marked as "Plot" Merchants won't buy plot items. Or, is it a multiple stack item? I don't know much about it, but Arrows, bolts, etc. can't be sold back unless it's a complete 99-stack, right? That's a possibility. Look at plot, first though. _________________ If it is really hard to do, then you are probably doing it wrong to begin with. |

First: DId you set it to plot by any chance?
Second: Did you edit its value after you set up the merchant? You may need to do an update instances if so, I'm not sure. Open up the Store and see what the buy/sell price reported in his inventory screen is. If that doesn't work, remove it and re-add it to the store inventory and see what happens.
When I did a quick test of a similar item it worked OK, so if it is a bug its not an obvious one to reproduce.

It is a plot item. So I guess that is the problem.
I have definately been doing Update Instances after changing the blueprint so I don't think it was that.
Will try removing the plot flag tonight.
Thanks for the help guys.
