Hi guys, I have this request, and it is vital for my module- current hacks, so far as I can see, do not solve my problem.
I need a big ship- the galleon, basically- but in placeable form, with the masts mostly torn off, the sails gone, and the wood **weathered** looking (old; blackened or greened or whatever). also, I need a small man-sized hole in the front on the left-hand side (so as to act as a kind of door- I only want to place a transition there, though).
Basically, a galleon version of the weathered cog hack-pack.
Could anyone please help me with this? If anyone is willing, has the time, patience and ability, please post here. Cheers _________________ My Wesbite Off Topic Picture Gallery The Periodic Elements Clique! -(cu) -X |

That hack-pack features cog ships; I specifically and categorically said that cog ships are not what I am looking for
Why aren't cog ships of use? Because this ship is supposed to be a three century old great ship of a fabled explorer run aground. A tile long, half tile wide ship- the cog- is not going to work. I have tried it and it looks absurd- this conclusion to my module features a ship less grand looking than your own raggedy vessile that you start on (i.e. the standard ship)!
Anyway, someone else started making this for me, but gave up... thus, if anyone is willing to do this, I have the files from their attempt on me and can send them to you.
Cheers again for any help _________________ My Wesbite Off Topic Picture Gallery The Periodic Elements Clique! -(cu) -X |

Is there no one out there willing to do this for me? There is already a galleon placeable hack pack (by shazwozzer), all that is required is the model becoems slightly wrecked, and has a reskin. Pleeeeeease can someone help me here- I desperately and crucially need this hack. _________________ My Wesbite Off Topic Picture Gallery The Periodic Elements Clique! -(cu) -X |

My suggestion is that you use deception:
- select a terrain area that is partially obscured, such as rural woods or a cliff edge. Place the placeable cog in such a way that only, say, the bow end is visible, the rest being covered by an over growth of trees or a landslide, or whatever. If possible, place a second cog placeable further away so that only the stern is visible. The rest of the magestic ship is covered by trees or whatever, and worn away by the passage of time. |

that is a really, really good idea. however, it cannot be done: y'see, I am doing a remake and expansion upon Tales of the Sword coast, and this ship is completely visible and washed up on a small island sans woodland- therefore it can't really work. (I alreayd have the areas made and it simply not possible to change it to fake it as you say.
Y'see, I might be able to live without the reskin, albeit unwillingly, but I would NEED to masts and sails removed, and I cannot do that- I have tried modelling and it is simply beyond me. _________________ My Wesbite Off Topic Picture Gallery The Periodic Elements Clique! -(cu) -X |
