In September, BioWare opened the Guilds and Registry system to NWN game owners. This week we profile The Broodslayers guild, one of the most active guilds, and includes an interview with guild owner Chokra Broodslayer.

What exactly does the "Most Active" mean? How many people log on and read the posts? Or how many posts per day, month, week? Just curious because one of my fellow guild members had asked, and we weren't sure. I tried to find if it was written somewhere when viewing the list, but turned up nothing.

I took a look at their rank structure and decided to decline on those grounds. I thought the point was roleplaying, instead they seem to be into politicking, well unless they are roleplaying politicians. |

Most active is calculated thusly though I won't give you the formula, you can work it out if you want: It depends on the number of guild members who actually visit your guild pages over a 30 day period versus the number of members (so automatically having huge numbers is not going to do much good). Secondly the number of forum posts and this is graded on a scale. Thirdly it depends on other things that you do on the guild pages, events, news etc. But this is all weighted on a curve against all the other guilds, so simply posting events willy nilly will not get you up there either
So that in short is what is used to make up the most active list. Get a good group of people and get them to come to the site lots, and participate lots in discussions and do all the other stuff and you'll get up there!

Yes. It's a shame that I don't get to game with them more often. I recently joined and they are a fun bunch, and I constantly get emails reminding me about guild events and such... I just don't have the time to play in any of them due to homework and all. A good and decent group of folks. They deserve to be highlighted! Good job Chokra! |

Thanks Dups! Appreciate that... We're at #16 right now and everyone was asking for those details. Click Here Now we know. We have a pretty active base of people and do almost no events in the calendar (not yet  ). Thanks.
