There is a bug (I assume with the persistant storage system) that causes you not to be able to continue the storylines with Dorna or Xanos once you hit the Interlude.
(Was anybody else wondering why you were suddenly back on "Why go to Drogan's School" instead of "What happened next?")
According to their conversations in the toolkit, you can find out more about Xanos' dreams of grandeur, or Dorna's family. Hopefully when the patch comes out, this problem will get fixed... as the henchmen seem a bit shallow without knowing their full stories.
I'm not sure about Deekin's storyline (didn't make it to Interlude with him yet) but I notice Deekin has an oversight in his conversation.... if he likes you too much, he won't identify items for you. Likewise if he is afraid of you. He'll only ID stuff if he has a neutral opinion of you, which seems strange.Edited By MysterX on 07/07/03 20:50 |

so did I.
And Xanos. I've been using all three in one campaign. _________________ Honor is a man's gift to himself. ~ from "Rob Roy" |

It's really a shame... Deekin seemingly has enough personality to get by, but Xanos and Dorna need those conversations pretty badly, as they seem pretty one-dimensional past chapter 1. |

Yes, it's a bug and it's been reported.
For the record, however, you can get those conversations in game by going through the entire thing again. Yes, after each chapter it reverts back to the beginning, but you can go through all of that again and get the new story elements still. Or just wait until Ch2 and go through all of it once, which is what I am doing with Xanos... heh. _________________ Ah AD&D, the perfect combat system if you are two guys wearing platemail and taking turns swinging at each other. |
