I don't remember seeing that creature. I finished SOU about 2 weeks ago, I can't for the life of me , remember if I ever saw it. Plz remind me what area it was in.

There was a sphinx in the ruins of the interlude where the portal was, hidden. Can't exactly remember, though, what kind of sphinx... but it was there.
It's petrified, though, so the info's kind of useless unless you have a stone to flesh spell or something else similar... it's quite the find.

I like the screenshot they provided. The desert has rolling dunes which is YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE of what you CANNOT do in the toolset without using an outside and unofficial Hak Pak!
Every screenshot I see posted officially on this website that uses a camera or other hak to achieve just burns me up! Put his stuff in as official!  |

I don't like to whine at the people who made this game for us too much, but I have to admit, that's a good point. These beautiful screenshots are a bit of a cruel tease when you have to download a series of Haks to come close to getting the same experience in actual play.
