A group of special and slightly crazy people have been tirelessly working on a project to bring Neverwinter fans new and previously released tilesets in a convenient package accessible to the whole community. We spoke with project leader Banshe to learn how the project is going and to find out what exactly will be in the Neverwinter Community Tileset Pack.

First off, a hearty thank you to Bioware for helping our cause.
We look forward to seeing many of you at our website. Please stop in and have a peek around. We are there to answer any questions you may have.
Also, if you plan on using the CTP in any of your projects, we highly recommend you come and read up on some of the details we have posted regarding the CTP.
Once again, thank you to Jay and the rest of the folks at Bioware for everything. |

Woot! We wouldn't be doing this project without the work of so many talented CC members. The Community Tileset Pack is about making their work more accessible to others. We have reached a point in our progress that we felt comfortable opening more doors to the community.
Please feel welcome at our site! We may not have all the answers you want But we welcome the dialog and interest.

Hail.
Great idea! Thanks for taking this on, of which I am well aware, is a daunting task!
You folks want some help? I have created and combined just about every type of custom NWN content in running the KoJ Realm for 2 years.
Tilesets are the most recent battle I managed to conquer for the most part, and if I can get a little help on walkmesh, I think I could lend a hand.
I sent a pigeon through your site as well. _________________ XE-Ryder, Paladin Oracle of KoJ KoJ Realm & PW |

When Banshe talks about the size of the CTP this is uncompressed haks. When the 30 or more hak's are sitting in your NWN folder they will take about a gig or more of space. But really with as much content that the communtiy has put together did you expect less? Would you want less? I am not saying we grabbed everything we could get our hands on. We had to be selective and even tastful in some cases. But the end result is a lot of really impressive works made by community members. _________________ CTP member looking to help you build a better game. |

This looks like a fine companion to the CEP. Probably a silly question, but are their any incompatibilities with CTP and CEP? |

I have alot of other tilesets, and they made my computer a bit more slow. Will CTP slow it down alot? |

Thanks guys!
Love the whole CTP team. They all have done their share.
<<>> As for tilesets slowing down your computer... If that is the case then I assume the CTP would slow down your computer. Maybe the folks in the tech forum can help you out with why tilesets slow you down...
Edit: As for the CEP and CTP, we have very little in common (file-wise) with them. So compatability is certainly something we will strive for and hopefully manage quite well.Edited By Banshe on 03/31/05 07:46 |
