Set in a future where magic has seen a rebirth, the crazy world of Shadowrun is still adjusting to the fact that Dragons and wizardry exist alongside advanced technology and global corporations that have more power then governments. Peacekeeping duties in Iraq have not stopped community member SDX from gearing up to reshape Neverwinter Nights into something that comes with a full clip.

WOW! Now that is some dedication and work. I can't wait for the finished project to come through. To those who think that role playing can't be done in a modern environment, you're morons.

more words - I love D&D and Shadowrun. both great RPG's. If Shadowrun had the development that D&D had it would be mindblowing. Look forward to seeing this myself in action.  |

I used to play Shadowrun on the SNES, it was utterly brilliant. Hopefully this will live up to that fantastic game.
Now, if only someone could make a Fallout version of NWN, I'd be in heaven.  |

shadow run? yeah man i played that, i seem to remember having a hacker elf with huge data storage and a cyberjack in his head, and a dwarf with dermal implants and retractable claws, hardwired reflexes, he used to get the shakes some times, but man he was hard
hmmm... i just remembered where my rule book is, wicked...
man this game rocked, i've gone all nostalgic lol.
just started learning the toolset and currently building my own stuff at mo, would love to help, but think i may be to busy at this time, but will be watching with interest

A most impressive project!
Given Microsoft's existing investment in FASA corp. licensing, 'Deadly Skies' already gracing X-Box live I believe, what would it take to loose Bioware on a more console-friendly version of Shadowrun or, dare we dream, Earthdawn? |

I remember the days of playing Shadowrun, our group that played were a mostly cybered up with enhancement like you wouldn't believe. From what I have seen of the screenshots, it can only get better from here.

Probably not much. I attempted to contact them via the email they had listed for their Shadowrun contact - when they bought out FASA for Mech Warrior. Of course the email account had been killed, and I could get no sort of reply from them via any other method either. My take is that they are planning on letting Shadowrun die (as a video game) so this project will continue - and if not they'll see how much could be made and there'll be an actual game planned. Either way we'll be playing Shadowrun, so thats all I care about.

I say let Microsoft keep FASA Interactive, but someone needs to buy back the rights to Shadowrun. Maybe give it to Fanpro, or license it back to them and make a Shadowrun MMO. Mmmm.... |

Eh, I love Chrono Trigger and I love NWN, but I'm not sure I could get excited about a mix of the two. I don't think the engine can really do it. |
