Acctually what I am interested in playing is a SMALL character, but I do not like to play halfling or Gnomes.

Are they 'magical' brownies?
The races you can play are only the ones listed in the Players Handbook, namely: Human, Half-Elf, Half-Orc, Elf, Dwarf, Halfling, and Gnome.

But I do not think that the rules allow for one to be a Familiar. Excpecially in the single player game...

When you use you familiar, you take control of it and your PC is immobile. So in theory, you are playing a pixie. You can be a DM and posses the creature you like, or just create one using the toolset. Hope it help. |
