I'm looking for a server that either uses the PRC, or has a decent number of custom classes/races.
Alternatively, having a changeling, doppleganger or even fey race is also a plus. |

Do not use the PRC but do have the subraces available after a bit of playing...kinda the proving ground so to speak. We do have lots of available other subraces and specfic class abilties with more being added in before the years is out as we are starting time flowing Jan 1st.
I know World Serpent Inn has Sub Races as well.
There is also a PRC Forum I think that list PWs that might be a better place to look.
Hope you find what your looking for.

I'm pretty sure Higher Ground uses it... though from what I've heard it's half and half.. action/rp. Some rpg servers offer subraces though, as stated. WSI, Silver Marshes, and Thain are the ones I know right offhand. Sometimes you'd have to submit a request before playing them. _________________ www.worldserpentinn.com - CEP RP World - Planeswalkers Welcome - Vault PageEdited By jshumate on 11/03/09 19:00 |

Alternatively, d20 modern would work. |

So this isn't PRC? http://wiki.hgweb.org/wiki/Builds#Quasiclasses
Something WSI might be doing is adding additional prcs, if we can manage it without haks. We're brainstorming a few methods currently. _________________ www.worldserpentinn.com - CEP RP World - Planeswalkers Welcome - Vault Page |

I will send you a message on how to do this as we have several PRCs without haks done and soon to be released on our players. _________________ Tales of the Silver Marches |

Those are, as clearly stated in the link, Quasiclasses. They are neither prestige classes (PrCs) nor taken from the NWN Player Resource Consortium (PRC). It is also in their official wiki definition that
Quote: A quasiclass is an atypical class combination that gains special abilities once it meets certain requirements. They still gain all the normal benefits of the classes they take, but special bonuses if they meet the requirements of a quasiclass.
Nothing is mentioned about taking levels in a new class, neither is it possible to actually make a new class selectable without haks (which they don't use apart from CEP). A further look into their documentation reveals examples of how this is executed:
Quote: - The Bane Knight quasiclass combines the combat prowess of the Blackguard with the arcane might of the Sorcerer. By counting Blackguard levels as Sorcerer levels for the purposes of some spells, the normal downsides of taking so many non-caster levels are largely offset.

Thanks for the clarification on higher ground. We are looking at a few possible ways to offer prcs or something similar, without Hacks. Might not be perfect but well see. _________________ www.worldserpentinn.com - CEP RP World - Planeswalkers Welcome - Vault Page |

I think there are only 2 servers that use PRC, only only one I can remember off the top of my head is ddmoonsea. Haven't played there in a while though. |

Cormyr Dalelands uses about a dozen of the PrC classes and many of the spells and other customizations.
They support many custom races - but I believe you have to get permission to play the more exotic ones.Edited By rjanney on 11/14/09 22:34 |
