Me and my friend have recently bought this game and for the past week we have been trying to start a Co-op game. The problem is when either of us hosts a game we cant see each others game on the servers list.
We have both done the following:
Tried Direct contact (came back with a server time out)
Done all of the port settings (Plus the Gamespy ones) that has been recommended on the sticky thread.
Checked and enabled all firewalls and even resorting to turning them off at one point.
Tried moving to DMZ (outside firewall on router settings)
Changing .INI files to change the port. (also in the FAQ area)
Even went to the stage of buying new Routers just incase they were causing an issue.
We also bought NWN2, on this we can see each others game but cant join it. The message Server is behind a Firewall or Router and may not be accessible and then times out. (Im guessing both problems are linked)
As far as im aware we have no NAT problems because Xbox Live doesnt detect any and says its open.
were both running on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and both have the same Netgear DGNB2100 Routers. (These arent on PortForward.com yet) Cant see the point with putting anything else because i cant see it being relevant.
Please any help you can give would be great. I've tried everything i can think of and im out of options and my head needs a plaster.
