There was once a time when localvault servers were full of players, full of roleplay and events. The good old times. But now the scene has been in shambles for quite a while. It's time for this to come to an end. And so a few of us old hardcore LVRPers have gathered to create a new server that will unite people of our kind on a server once again.
What is LVRP? It's roleplaying on servers on which you can bring your own characters, with your own items. A lot of people think this is not the way to go, but I've seen political plots, wars and character development roleplayed better then I've never seen before, on these very servers. Localvault. The point is that you are given endless opportunity for character creation and roleplay. No leveling, or pesky DMs. You start off epic, and finish even more epic.
Anyway. I'm posting this so that people who might be interested in re-joining LVRP, or people who would like to try somethign new in RP, will know where to go.

They will be dealt with harshly. And believe me, we've had quite a lot of experience with these kinds of modules, so I predict we won't have any problems running it. |

So this means no xp grinding and no item, gold or loot hunting?
Will there be any quests?
Will there be any hostile encounters?
Will there be any item restrictions?
Will you enforce legal characters?
Or can I move my lvl 80 outsider DM avatar to my local vault and log on?
Will the plot(s) be completely player created?
I guess that's a lot of questions, but I've been playing server vault for so many years.

Yes, there will be no XP grinding, nor item and loot hunting.
There will be DM lead quests, and DM lead hostile encounters.
There will be item restrictions and legal characters will be enforced.
So no, you can't log in with your god-like character.
And the main plots will be DM created, while the numerous guilds and organizations will be lead by players.

Interesting idea, ELC + scripts would prevent cheaters to join the server. But whatif I create uber items for my characters and then I join your server?Perhaps you can put a item value cap based on the level. lvl 1 300 mo, lvl 2 900, lvl 3 2700, etc. etc. |

To prevent god-like characters would require the server to override almost every 2da that a player could override to prevent custom changes. |
