Hello there! My computer, which ran the last XP, has finally bit the big one. Of course, I'm trying to get a new computer with XP, but in the off chance I cannot, I now have to choose between Vista (which I really don't want) and the new Windows 7 (which I have on my office computer and I am really enjoying). Is it too soon to know if there are going to be any issues with NWN running on Windows 7? Just wanna know before I go and spend my dollars.

It should run fine overall, provided it is patched to the latest version.
Some people have encountered issues, so check the stickies and such. Most of the issues NWN has had with Vista applies to Windows 7 also. They are virtually the same underlying operating system. |

Thanks, Edhel. I had later seen the other thread regarding W7 and gave myself one of those V8 slaps to the forehead. At least now I know that W7 may well have the same issues as Vista (my son is having those now and all I've heard for the past 2 days is a whole lot of grumbling!).
I'm still gonna try for an XP for my gaming computer. No issues there, other than the driver one.
