LadyRolePlay Profile Part 2 - Page 3 Go to Page (Previous Page - 1, 2, 3)
Q: Do you have any additional comments you would like to add? Well after that what more can there possibly be to say ? On your single player RPGs BioWare, bring in more romance, men seem to always get a great choice in this, women, well…In Throne of Bhaal - Anomen, that's it. I rest my case. A piece of advice for those who want to role-play; play a character you will love playing and play a character you will actually like. Art imitates life. If you are just starting, make a character that would fit your own real life personality and emotional disposition. Once you have the art down, then branch out into more complex sorts of characters that may be quite different from you in real life. My last thoughts are on this marvelous game itself NWN. I did not realize at the time I bought the game, what a groundbreaking piece of work was created. I also did not realize what a vast, creative core of fans would emerge to provide top quality DMing and modules. The explosion simply amazes me. I know I've played a good games when my characters continue to stay with me after the game is over. Like real life, so many great moments can and do occur, and so many truths emerge in the interaction with other players online. This is only the beginning. What will come of all this in the years ahead can only be imagined. Look at ALFA for example; it is in the process of connecting all these servers so that one can journey anywhere in the Forgotten Realms. The adventures waiting out there are many, and limited only by the imagination of those running and playing the game. All the high drama, the comedy and laughter, the joys, the tears, the failures, the victories, the highs, and the lows, romance, treachery and betrayal, are there waiting to be experienced. These stories can be played as only a group of individuals that have been brought together online can play them; no canned dialogue, and like real life a story that can take so many twists and turns, as one road is taken or not taken in the life of the PC. Look at all the lessons to be learned in a myriad of settings, with a myriad of characters. Truly, adventure calls. BioWare, I salute you, and my only most heartfelt request would be to keep working on this game, and refining it so that those real life feelings and thoughts we express to each other, can be ever more realistically realized by our PCs online. Hence, my own personal signature wherever I post: The road goes ever on Martha Mc Dermott Go to Page (Previous Page - 1, 2, 3)
