Kingmaker Gameplay Tips

Graveyard and Crazy Hermit Easter Eggs
There is a hidden graveyard with two Easter Eggs. Find the graves and drop in the items named.
Find the Crazed Hermit and convince him to let you look in his hives (this is made easier if you have Trip or Kaidala with you). Get the poisoned knife and go to Garrot at the Silver Lily. Talk to him about his past and he should give you a pair of magic boots in exchange for the poisoned blade.
Extra Cleric Quest
If you play a cleric you receive an extra quest from Dynschall and can become one of the Keep's priests. Each class has a special guild they can join, which gives them several advantages, including better prices at a specific store.
Additional Votes and Endings
The love triangle is one of my favorites. If you do it right you can get two votes out of it. Talk to Feran and get him to invite you to the tavern for a drink. Go to the tavern at night and pay for drinks, getting him really drunk. He will tell you a secret about Ellysia (the noble guildmaster). Next, go to the haunted house and find the secret exit. Listen at the grate and get Sir Becket's ring, then go to Silvertongue Manor and convince Ellysia that Sir Becket is cheating on her and that she should get back together with Feran. That gets you the Noble's guild vote. Now go to Feran and tell him what you have done and he will give you the military guild vote.
Doing the plot other ways can get you other endings. Feran sometimes quits his job and leaves the keep. You can also gain blackmail gold from Feran and Sir Becket.
Fight Advice
Keep your allies buffed up and optimize your weapon for hitting and damage. Certain quests are tougher than others. For example, the kobolds and cows quest is really easy if you helped the hermit. Give the kobolds the honey, then use the grain to lead the chickens to a different part of the caves, then lead the cows out. You only need the first cow to escape, then the rest will leave as well. The longer you put off the election, the higher level you will be.
Want to do Everything?
If you are male and go through all the romance with Kaidala, there is an extra mini-quest involving the hidden grove. Accepting Alias's quest, but not completing it until you have gained one other vote, will give you the greatest number of quests. You gain more insights from the villain and his gems if you do all the outer keep quests.
Mostly, to really see everything, you should play through at least twice, once as evil and once as good, because many of the quests have completely different outcomes depending on your choices.
