Step 1. Try the Update Button
Try updating normally, by pressing the Update button, shown below. If you encounter any problems, continue with Step 2.

Step 2. Download Critical Rebuild Program
If the update process in Step 1 is not working, you can download and install the Critical Rebuild Program.
Note: This Program includes all critical files, not just patch files, so it should only be used if the update process in step 1 does not work.
- Download the 1.68 Critical Rebuild (16 MB):
- Save it somewhere you can easily find, such as your Desktop
- Run the file
- Neverwinter Nights is now patched
