Note:

• If you have Hordes of the Underdark installed, with or without Shadows of Undrentide, use the Hordes of the Underdark update.
• If you have Shadows of Undrentide installed and do not have Hordes of the Underdark installed, use the Shadows of Undrentide update.
• If you have neither Shadows of Undrentide or Hordes of the Underdark installed, use the Original update.

 

1. Download the appropriate linuxsouclientupdate###to162LANG.tar.gz file below and put it in your Linux Neverwinter Nights directory (the directory containing nwmain):

Version number is found in the top right-hand corner of the Options menu:

2. Remove the BioWare-supplied contents of your override directory. If you have not placed any files in this directory yourself, you can do

rm -f override/*

You may wish to backup your override directory if you plan to revert to an earlier version at some point.

3. Unpack the file using the command

tar -xzf linuxsouclientupdate###to162LANG.tar.gz
