Exterior Underdark


The Underdark is a jagged and merciless world of rock and blackness. Each fragment of civilization must be cut from the living rock that surrounds it. Nothing comes easily, and nothing lives softly in this world of stone, crystal and bottomless holes that fall away into forever. Shadows are thick and consuming while light is fleeting and weak as if night has taken root among the stalactites and crevasses and grows untended like a black weed. Once the sights of the Underdark are seen few find their way back to the light.
